Look Here!High School Baseball Parent Meeting on May 17

There will be a baseball parent meeting for all players in grades 9-12 on Saturday, May 17, at noon on the baseball field. Please make every attempt to have at least one parent at the meeting. Also, the June 27th game with Clarinda will only be a varsity only game beginning at 7 p.m. Clarinda does not have enough players for a JV team.

Look Here!Football Player Meeting on May 21

Coach Duggan is hosting a football players meeting on Wednesday, May 21, at 2:15 p.m. in the weight room. Immediately following the meeting, a dietitian from Hy-Vee will be presenting a brief program on sports nutrition. Any boy entering 9th-12th grades in the fall who wishes to play football should plan to attend the meeting and the nutrition presentation.

Saintes Softball Back at SA

Despite earlier rumors, the Saintes will play their home softball games on their field on the hill at Saint Albert this season!

We have worked out a solution with our liability insurance provider and general contractor to safely conduct our softball schedule on our home field this year during our ongoing construction. Access to the field will be limited to the staff parking area and gravel access lane behind the school. Only construction personnel are allowed beyond the construction zone gates or fencing; therefore, no homerun or foul balls may be retrieved by fans or team members.

Construction Update

The State of Iowa has conducted its test for asbestos-containing materials on the exterior of the Moriarty Center. We expect to receive the results from the test, and the approval to begin the demolition of the building, later this week. Here are some additional photos from the construction site.

Look Here!Hy-Vee/Mall of the Bluffs Receipts Needed

Saint Albert is in need of your Mall of the Bluffs and/or Madison Avenue Hy-Vee receipts for the "My School's Cool" competition. We currently are in 2nd place of the competition, but if we can get to 1st place, the school will receive $5,000! Receipts will be accepted until May 31 at any of the Saint Albert Schools offices or at the receipt drop box at the Mall. Turn in those receipts now -- every little bit helps!
